Another Redbox pick, Cleaner. I didn’t have a movie in mind and this one looked like a decent movie based on the description. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This movie stars Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris, two of my favorite actors. Generally they star in decent movies. Of course that isn’t always the case.
The general plotline is Jackson’s character runs a cleaning service that specializes in crime scene restoration. Someone gets offed, he will clean up the mess like it never happened. He goes out to a job and later learns it was an unreported crime.
The movie was long and drawn out, and very predictable. They could have easily made the entire movie into a 20 minute (with commercials) TV show and not missed anything relevant. To me it was one of those movies where I couldn’t wait for it to be over. A movie has to be very bad for me to stop watching in the middle. I’m categorizing this entry as Entertainment, but that term is used very lightly in this case.
