Welcome back to Geekone.org. We had a small problem that involved garden gnomes suddenly springing to life in order to battle the Evil Order of the Pink Flamingos. The GeekOne server was oddly proclaimed to be the primary battleground. The sudden over abundance of pixie dust finally reached critical mass causing it to implode upon itself, leaving nothing behind but a faint but pleasant aroma of Milk Duds and General Tso’s Chicken.
In all seriousness, this site is run on a scrounged together server in a garage, and the hard drive had a physical failure. The backup was corrupt so I had to rebuild from scratch. A few posts I was able to recover from Google Cache, but most of them went the way of the dodo bird. I now have a chance to rebuild the entire site, and can accomplish some of it better than before using what I learned last time.
