RIP MPC Computers
My former employer, MPC Computers (formerly known as Zeos, Micron Computer Services, Micron Electronics, MicronPC.com, and MicronPC) announced today that Chapter 11 reorganization efforts were unsuccessful and they are letting 150 employees go effective immediately. A small handfull will be sticking around for an unknown length of time to tie up lose ends.
Best wishes to all of my friends and former co-workers who are now looking for other career opportunities. My only word of advice is look to the positive side. Being forced into a career change due to the layoff was the best thing that could have happened for my career. Good luck!
