I’d heard about the game Wits & Wagers from a few sources, and it sounded interesting. I’m trying to spend more family time off-screen, and playing board games together is one of the things I’m working into the schedule a couple of times per week. The wife found this game on a half-off sale so [...]

I just saw a Lifehacker post stating that the Senate approved a bill to extend the Digital TV transition date from Feb 12 to June 12, and the House is expected to do the same. I wish they would do it and get it over with.

We’ve been playing Uno online since we acquired our Xbox 360.  Uno supports voice communications using a headset attached to your controller.  We have not been able to chat with people since it didn’t come with a headset.  From what I’ve seen, a lot of people assume if a player doesn’t have a headset that [...]

When we first got our Xbox 360, I was excited that you could play Uno online without having to upgrade to a Gold membership, which is basically $50 per year or less.  I tried to get on yesterday and it wouldn’t let me.  It turns out it was a holiday special Microsoft was running, and [...]

I was watching an episode of Cops last night, and I had a stroke of genius.  It wouldn’t be that hard to bring an end to innocent people being victimized by drunk drivers.  All that would have to be done is

Movie Review: Cleaner

Another Redbox pick, Cleaner.  I didn’t have a movie in mind and this one looked like a decent movie based on the description.  I couldn’t have been more wrong.  This movie stars Samuel L. Jackson and Ed Harris, two of my favorite actors.   Generally they star in decent movies.  Of course that isn’t always [...]

Another Redbox freebie, I picked out Wildhogs. The Mrs. and I had wanted to see it for a while, so  I grabbed this flick. This movie has a well known cast, including Tim Allen and John Travolta. If you like comedy, this one is a winner.

I stumbled upon a fun little website yesterday called Centsports. Centsports is a sports betting website, with one major difference: It doesn’t cost anything to bet! It is completely advertiser supported and they give you the money to bet. When you sign up, you get $0.10 (yes, ten cents) to bet
